The sounds that help babies settle

The first sound a baby knows is a heartbeat. The Flow Amsterdam George Comforter builds on that: a soft comforter with  a rechargeable music box that plays five calming sounds, designed to help newborns settle in the moments when a parent isn't right there. Heartbeat for the familiar, white noise for the constant, nature sounds and lullabies for the soothing, and gentle breathing as a calm anchor.

The detail that matters at 3am

The cry sensor is what makes George genuinely practical. Keep it within about 30cm of your baby, and when they cry, George activates automatically. No fumbling in the dark, no reaching across the room. The sound starts, the familiar presence is there, and settling can begin. Set the auto-off timer for 15, 30, or 60 minutes depending on your routine.

George: the design behind the comforter

Flow Amsterdam is a Dutch design studio. George's rounded shape and muted grey palette are considered choices: calm, unisex, and made to sit in a thoughtfully put-together nursery without looking out of place. The rechargeable music box means no battery changes. Remove it, wash the cover, reattach. Done.
